Insanely Expensive? Or Just Insane?
Sometimes a price tag is enough to make you run for the hills. And while some products may be worth it, there are definitely more frauds than not out there. We tried a handful of the most expensive products on the market to see if they lived up to the price tag.
FRESH Sugar Face Polish
Price: $62 for 4.4 oz
Exfoliating skin, especially in the summer, is one of our favorite things to keep us feeling fresh and skin glowing. This exfoliator smells fantastic and leaves skin feeling baby soft.
Creme de la Mer
Price: $150 per ounce
Chances are you've heard of the infamous brand, La Mer, but if you're anything like us, the price tag held us back from every trying it...until now. Their moisturizing cream is regarded as one of the best in the world for keeping skin young and wrinkle-free. So we tried it for a week and while our skin did glow and we felt great, we have to say it was not as magical as we'd hoped. We did not notice much improvement, even though we only used it a week. And this woman compared La Mer side-by-side with Nivea and found Nivea to work better. Sign us up.
Azature Black Diamond Nail Polish
Price: $250,000
$250,000?! Yes, you read that right. And no, there's no chance in heck we actually tried this, but we had to include the most expensive nail polish in the world. The reason for the price tag? It's made from black diamonds. There's simply no way we can imagine any nail polish should cost more than most homes...that said, if anyone wants to send us a bottle, we'll happily try it out.
